Royal Mint or PAMP – what's the difference?
Both are 999.9 fine gold from internationally recognised refiners. Royal Mint Britannia bars are our best-value option. PAMP Suisse Fortuna bars are a premium Swiss bar with the Lady Fortuna design, a unique serial number and PAMP's VeriScan® smartphone verification.
Is gold bullion VAT-free?
Investment gold is exempt from VAT in the UK. This covers gold bars of at least 995 fineness and recognised gold bullion coins such as the Britannia, Maple Leaf and Krugerrand.
Should I choose a bar or a coin?
Bars usually carry a lower premium per gram, especially in larger sizes. Coins are widely recognised worldwide and come in a standard 1 oz weight, which many buyers find easy to sell on.
How are your prices set?
Our prices follow the live gold market and refresh hourly. The price shown is a guide; your price is fixed when we confirm your order.
Why can't I buy online or have it posted?
Bullion is sold by phone or WhatsApp and collected in person so we can confirm a live price, check ID and hand over your bar or coin securely.
